guess that works out, haha. So long as you can find something to describe your religious beliefs, sometimes that's a difficult task in and of itself.

Satanism after Lavey to an extend seems to me like rooted in bushido or there are similarities so it is not entirely bad.
But a lot what you describe shade rings a bell for myself, perhaps pragmagoism or so. *scratches head*

I'm not a Laveyan. Laveyans or otherwise known as Modern Satanists are for the most part atheists with a huge ego system. I am a Thestic Satanist (otherwise known as Traditional Satanism or Spiritual Satanism) To me I worship an actual being that goes by the name of Satan. Not just a set of ideas to power my ego. Though I admit my ego is rather large, lol......You can find some basic info on my beliefs at Diane Vera's website www.thesticsatanism.com , geifodd's website at www.thesticsatanism.com/geifodd and ofs-demonolatry.org

*raises an eyebrown* I am a Thestic Satanist (otherwise known as Traditional Satanism or Spiritual Satanism) To me I worship an actual being that goes by the name of Satan. Out of curiosity why would it be usefull to worship the angelic choir of shaitans or judges when being an angelkin? Hum you know forget the question just old training peeking through. A bit more on it the above is written here: www.semjaaza.com/seven/samael01.html

Satan means "adversary," there are many beings who claim the title of "Satan."
Theistic Satanists, if I'm not mistaken, see the entity most commonly called Satan to actually be a beneficiary to mankind, and had been cast out or opposed by the malicious being some refer to as God or YHWH.
I agree that Laveyan Satanists have a major ego-trip, there's been one Satanist of that sort I've met that wasn't obsessed with his own ego. I also don't believe it has any resemblance whatsoever to Bushido.

You will also find that most Thestic Satanists do not believe of Satan being cast out by any "God" or even consider Jehova to even exist or at least have as much power as is claimned. Most do not see Satan as one with the Christian angel that fell from heaven. And yes, many beings claim the title of Satan, two in particular that have my utmost respect and considered as my Patron Deities....Set and Azazel. All in all, Thestic Satanism is a very broad form of spirituality, each practitioner has different ways to go about things and you will rarely find any that would actually be like the next. I also agree, Satanism and Bushido in my views are nothing alike.

I'm an Episcopalian....and the nice thing about my church (though I could go on and on for days since I wasn't raised in that tradition) is that no matter what you believe there's usually at least ONE other Episcopalian who agrees with you.
I need the community...and to put it the way a dear archangel friend of mine did once, if there's no hope for them (humans), there's no hope for us.
