I know this topic has been silent awhile, but I thought I'd put a few cents in the machine.
I don't have a religion, really. I don't really put a title on it, so I don't know what I would be considered in this sense. I don't really seek a title for myself, I just go with it.
Anywho, at first this didn't mesh with what I thought of the soul and my own personal beliefs. I had never heard anything to the contrary that angels were only religious, etc, and so that's how I viewed them. That was certainly NOT how I viewed the soul or a part of my spirituality.
But I realized that for myself, and maybe for others, not all angels are died to god or anything like that. So it eventually fit in, with a little rusty squeaking, and now I don't worry about it so much.

It is true that not all Angels are loyal to God or serve God. Some are Fallen.
I believe that there are some Angels who never had any connection to God, I believe Angels can procreate and the offspring of Fallen Angels would never have been in the service of the Creator.

I don't think that an angel has to be fallen simply because of this lack of connection to god. I think that's just one way of looking at it out of hundreds or thousands or more ways.

There's many ways to look at one truth, but if that is the one truth... then there is only that truth.

Lol whatever works for you; I don't want to argue with you about it. I don't think I have the patience.

I'm just saying, if I throw a baseball, and you believe it was a softball, it doesn't make it your truth that I threw a softball, it's just that I threw a baseball

Ugh, really.
I don't have the patience to argue something that just isn't so hugely important for me.

well to put it this way. The Creator can be male or female. In egypt the creator could be Isis while in Ireland the Creator is the Dagda for example anyway.

I personally put more stock in the Hindu belief then, the Creator is male and female, the creator is not male or female, the Creator is both, the Creator is male, the Creator is female. The Creator is beyond perception, we can only interact with the manifestations. Ugh, really. I don't have the patience to argue something that just isn't so hugely important for me. So I did throw the softball?

Perhaps you might want to back off a little bit; you are being very intimidating.
It honestly feels like there is no room for an opinion that contradicts yours; I feel like pretty much anything I've said here is being pushed and pushed and pushed to where you want it, and that there's no room for anything else to just harmoniously exist.
If you aren't intentionally doing this, then I apologise if this sounds rude, but really. If I'm intimidated, I'm sure others are too, and that does NOT lead to good conversation.

Terro, there is a good possibility that you aren't right as well. You could be the one thinking it's a softball. I agree with Luin. How much stock can we put into our memories, into the things that "feel" or seem right to us? I'm sure all or most of us here have tried and tested our beliefs, but the reality is that we could all be wrong on any point, large or small. We have to be willing to see in ourselves, not just others, the great possibility of seeing something wrong. Not everything fits into the rigid system that religion has put around us. Not everything will fit into your view of the truth.

That is why I am exploring things for what they are. I am trying to find out if it is a softball.
Again, while I am badgering specific terms, and I am debating points of religion versus points of logic. Again, find me a place in this topic where I said that her opinion is wrong?
I talked about throwing a baseball.

That is why I am exploring things for what they are. I am trying to find out if it is a softball. You may be intending that but obviously your wording makes people feel as if you're attacking their points of view, when they're merely stating an opinion. That could be why you're getting so much opposition from people. You don't appear to be trying to learn but trying to teach, and no one likes that (I found that out the hard way once.)

I personally am many things, I am a Satanist....Not as in the Satan of Christianity, Not the Lucifer who fell from the Christian Heaven.....Satan to me is simply a name I use to label my god, whose ideals fit that of Satan described by Thestic/Traditional Satanists and Demonolators. No, I do not make animal sacrifices, I do not take a piss on crucifixes or recite the bible backwards......I'm sure you all get the picture.
I am a druid/shaman.....I am one with the universe, doing my best to be in harmony with nature in all it's forms....even the brick walls surrounding me right now are to me a part of nature....simply shaped. I contact the spirits of this world and others, keeping close bonds to creatures of the shadow, water, and animal spirits in general.....This along with Satanism plays a prominent role in my spiritual life.
I am a Chaos Magician, simply for the fact that all other forms of magick, I have studied, yet they do not offer what Chaos Magick can offer, too limited, too restricted.....I as a free spirit could not stand to bear with those ways (says the guy in the army, following all them rules and regulations...lol)
All in all, that is basically my religion, everything fits into place with my...how do you say...uniqueness......If something doesnt seem right, I simply modify it and set it up to where it could fit with my nature....everything works out inn the end.
