I'm sort of an odd duck, so I'm trying to gage which sort of powers that angelkin generally have. One of my major talents is sight, astrally as well as physically at times. Whatever I see in the astral I can control and manipulate, though I have certain rules I must abide by (for exmaple if you found me, entered my sphere of influence, and had no intention of hurting me then I'd never control you against your will, its dishonorable.) I was wondering if anyone else can/has done this before or if I'm just a mutant.  |

My physical sight is "better than perfect." 0_o 15/20 Also in astral I can see just about anything, whether they want me to or not. I also have quite a bit of control on the astral as well. Sort of a telekinesis per say. As well as my other energy working abilities. So no I don't think you're a mutant. lol

My actual site is crap, I have to wear glasses or contacts or I can't see but when I'm wearing my glasses I can spot anything, things most people can't even those with 20/20 vision  |

I am so astrally blind it's not even funny. I must ask though, you can control and manipulate people through the Astral? That seems a little far fetched there. I can see manipulating the Astral as it is largely formed by our imagination and force of will, but controlling and manipulating people... that's a different bag of cereal altogether.

I wouldn't count manipulation of astral/physical objects on an astral level an ability specific to angels/angelkin...however, i feel it's something we can all do in some way. The astral realm is a tricky topic it would seem, as there's much dissent (being that it's a mental realm, for the sake of this discussion the mind=mental and the mind and brain are different) as to whether something is truly affected or is part of one's own astral projection...an occult self-endulged *HERO* complex, if you will. I'm not one to argue one way or the other when it comes to that, i will say that i believe it's very possible to affect matter/probability/people/energies/etc on an astral level which coincides strongly enough with the physical (the metaphysical and physical being two perspectives upon the same whole) to create change within the mundane. That's the very basis of the art and science of magic(k) (in future posts i'll be dropping the 'k'). Astral travel itself can be broken down into definitions and terms such as (but not limited to) remote viewing, general clairvoyance i suppose, etheric projection, energy projection, mental projection, shamanistic (animal) projections, dream projections (vs lucid dreaming) and so on...somewhere in all of this i believe i gave my personal answer, sorry for the long-windedness.

I agree on that, very much so actually. Since the Astral is primarily mental, you could say you slew a great and powerful demon, when really it was a phantom conjured up by your subconscious made manifest in the astral plane, and since you believed you could defeat it, you did.

I mean you can't be like jedi mind tricks on people but a strong astral presence often "influences" others to do things. When I mean control, I mean control over astral bodies, beings with no physical attachments. Think of your physical body as an anchor, a safe haven for your spirit if you will. Wayward spirits don't have this anchor, therefor they can be swept anyway the current wants to take them. Control the current, or the space around you and you can control the spirit that is in that current. EDIT: Ok I'm stupid xD I know what that wouldn't make sense for an angelic. Due to a series of unfortunate events in my history I have become part weaver. The analogy of "anchor and current" is more a weaver ability than an angelic one. |

That's how things seem to work. It took me years to develop any iota of skill in the astral...and even then I did it butt-backwards (anyone will tell you you're supposed to master physical abilities, such as sensing aura or sensing astral presences in the physical) rather than diving head first into astral land. |

Well those, I can do, sensing presences, but not so much auras. Saying I can't do it hasn't stopped me from trying. I just try not to get too dissapointed when it continuously fails. *shrugs*

To quote Yoda (and it will be butchered) "Try, you do not. DO you must" xD. And you've got one up on me, I can't do the aura thing in the phisical unless I'm consiously looking for something. I can't walk into a room and go "bam! You sir have a nasty aura" And etc. But I'm working on it ^^.

I seem to have extremely good sight with paranormal things/events, and things other that reading text... I get dizzy reading some books. -.- As far as control I seem to have some ability over a few elements, and canine animals seem to obey my rather well.
On the Astral Plane, something seems to have a "leash" if you will, tied nice and tight around my neck, so I can't really do much that goes against what then entity wants. I find it extremely annoying, and can't do a goddamn thing about it, because the entity (whoever/whatever) it is, seems to utterly sap all my energy and power, or lock it away unless "he" needs to do something with it, or if we get into a poor situation. So, as far as being able to control things or manipulate things on the Astral...not unless I'm bid to. Whoever it is who summons me both annoys me greatly, and yet in a way I don't mind... Very odd feeling closely connected to someone/something, yet extremely annoyed with. >.> Reminds me of my relationship with my boyfriend, at times. XD

Haahaa ouch! I had a relationship like that, and it got to the point where I had to kick the guy to the curb. He ruined my college graduation (I wont get into it) Has this entity given any reason for keeping you penned up? When I first started I had limitations too, like going through and endless set of brick walls before I finally broke through them all. Luckily I had some decent teachers along the way and while they weren't the best they did their best to protect me while I was breaking through the veil so to speak.
