just looking for opinions/experiences. do any of you believe the spirit and soul to be separate...and if so in what ways do they differ? also, those that have an eye for it...do you see any difference in the souls of angelkin with that of spiritual humans?

I feel that the spirit and the soul are different words for the same thing. I mean I see layers of spirit matter if you will but the core of someone does not change, it is you. I'm afaid I don't have much of an eye for souls or auras but when astrally viewing, non humans have a more...complex array of colors in thier energy than humans.

I have to agree that I view these to be two words for the same thing. I don't really have anything to back that up, though. *shrugs*

personally i view the two as separate though certainly connected... the soul (i feel) is a timeless entity that is a compilation of one's own life/lives experiences, encounters, and is in direct/infinite communication with 'goddess' (feel free to insert universe, cosmos, god, the all, everything, or any other title you prefer here). whereas the spirit is an 'earthly' manifestation of the soul...much like a photocopy, that has access to the soul (akashic record) but lacks the full-on awareness. the spirit, i feel, is affected by time (the phenomenon of time is really just 'change'...the inference is that the spirit changes whereas the soul is 'complete'). i make this assumption based on my feeling that one's purpose on this plane (and perhaps others) is to experience (again change) one's self as an individual vs a collective (amongst other things that would be too off-topic). the spirit is reflected in the aura and is our inner-voice/deeper emotions that are quite capricious and associated (IMO) with the top 4 chakras (in the 7 chakra system). it is our life-force and thusly belongs just as much to the earth as it does us (scary to consider but i feel it IS similar to a prana that does flow in-and-out of us spiritually and physically in the food we eat, feelings we take in, knowledge we gain etc). so in that sense it is our body's metabolic energy, inner-self, and earthly sense of being. the soul, as aforementioned, is a compilation of all the lives and experiences we've had and is thusly not bound by time. as such it is 'complete' in its own understanding but that gets tricky without me taking far too much time going into non-linear/expansive time vs linear (train on train tracks time)...to keep that one short i'll say i believe in destiny but not fate. the soul (IMO) is a much more intangible and cannot be as easily discerned as the spirit because of its seemingly omnipresent/collective experience...if it wasn't for such a harshly grounding/segregating environment (physical existance) souls wouldn't be able to have a sense of identity (the spirit then being the catalyst, or messenger, for this task). our souls then would be our true-self that stays constant throughout all existance and though it does infinitely grow; it's both timeless and infinite. it's a matter of perception because of the duality that a physical existance has so interestingly created. so quickly then the 'vibrational' heirarchy of a human would go something to the affect of body (animal self...also an elemental/sensual self) brain (logical self) mind (formal-thinking/emotional self/imagination self/astral self) *see note spirit (divine-self incarnate/etheric self...we're talking about humans here remember) soul (divine self) over-soul (don't care to get into it) angelkin are then quite unique because many claim either the extremes of a divine energy ('holy' angelkin as referred to here...personally i prefer celestials but that's my flavor) and the extreme opposite (opposite in the sense of independence from 'godliness'...not to confuse god with deity but then maybe some do -.-.....ne way the terms seem to be 'unholy' or 'dark'...or 'land-locked' as i may jokingly/affectionately label). either way, anything that's living has spirit in the sense that is has prana/chi/etc (not so much has but flows through....)....whether one has a soul then is quite debatable and as i'm yet to really encounter too many angelkin on a non-internet level i can't debate outside of my own opinions and nieve bias.... i would like to suspend my thoughts on angelkin until i get someone other than terro with a response in this one ....i actually agree with much of what he had to say and would like to elaborate on a few bits later....such as incarnate angels as opposed to angelics, celestials, and angelkin
