Like names, these things, tend to change. If you pay attention, or think howerver, there will be things in your life, even before you've awakened, that smack you in the face like a squeaky hammer.
For me, the pine tree has been a long time symbol of myself. Despite other symbols I've hashed out (the torch represents my past life as Helena, the stag several of my past lives). In fact both the pine tree and the Stag both indicate Christmas connections. I've always loved winter time best and my sister has an affinity to ice. Yet at the same time I myself am a very heaty person. I like to surround myself with cold becuase even in physical situations surrounding myself with heat makes me sick (I get sluggish and sleepy).
So what are some things that have stuck with you long term?

Potentially dangerous info to give out lol -doesn't want to be summoned- :-P....i've always resonated with the 8-point star, willow tree, feathers and eyes (duh), dragon's blood, and that sums up the not-so personal ones....oh and the number 137 but that's another duh (as 137 and 13/7)....oh and seraphinite, its' a fun rock!!

SERAPHINITE! I have a necklace and a pair of earings made out of it that I wear nearly every day. Very strong protective properties, especially if you're running low on juice And yes, protentially dangerous but I think like names, trying to find the particular say cosmic pine tree to summon me would be like trying to find a single needle somewhere on the planet jupiter. Like name I think our specific symbols are hidden from us for good reason.

Moonstone knocks me on my butt every time, and all I can do is look at it and drool. I dream about it, think about it, see it, wear it... love it. I don't know why, or where it came from. One night I dreamt of it, and suddenly it seemed that EVERY night was full of dreams of finding it on the road, under water, etc. etc.
Otherwise, I haven't really any symbols that mean much to me that I can't tie to something else. For example, I used to use a trillium to represent myself, but I got that from a series of books some friends and I read as kids. Nothing else really has unexplained ties to myself, at least not at the moment.

My symbol is an orb/sphere on an almost heart shaped stand, don't know why or what it means but it works for me.

I love sapphires. Like REALLY love sapphires. And the color dark blue with gold accents. I love wings, feathers, and flying in the sky. Misty fall nights when it's cold and there's thick fog around. Moist cold air. Forested mountains and waterfalls cascading from great heights.
But my shtick seems to be dark blue with gold accents. I always get pissy when someone ascribes those colors to Michael. "Hey little brother those are MY colors! >^> BUZZ OFF. Yours are red and bronze! =^= *HUMPH*" So I think there's something going on there. Especially since my name revolves around dark blue. *grins*
