There's recently been a high occurance of claims and subsequent refutes...in respect to 'abilities' (psi, chi, elemental, and so on). I would like to open this thread as a 'debacle dump' for people to better explain what they literally can and cannot do. It's my assumption that a few would be happy to challenge such claims (though i sincerely hope they do so with the best intentions)...this type of contrast in thinking may cause others to explain themselves more thoroughly...and eventually dig deeper into themselves and who/what they are.
I picked the general thread merely because this is NOT connected to the claim/belief of being 'otherkin'.
Any claims, coaching, advice, objective or subjective disputes, and opinions are welcome...so long as they do not carry a condescending attitude (in the acceptance that we're all essentially here with a universally familiar goal). Also, please do not 'pull' a member into the conversations here...unless they've posted within this thread...not everyone's ready to defend the presence of their 'abilities' (I'm nominating myself as a candidate for conjecture...any who's with me say AYE! :-P)
This is NOT a 'power profile'...but a how/why does 'it' work, under what limitations/specifications, how do/can you prove it to yourself and others, etc.

I will literally claim the ability of a bibliomancer. *laughing* It's a joke between friends and I, but I do have an uncanny ability to find any book in any store/library. (If I can't find it, it's not there.) We've tested this numerous times, and it works with anything story-information related- DVDs, websites, magazine articles- and it never fails me. I prove it on a regular basis- such as finding my boyfriend's beloved ninja movie on DVD in English after a mere three websites when the silly thing hasn't been available for fifteen years- and my friends began calling me a 'bibliomancer' after six months of this being demonstrated. *snerk* Now if I could only get books to attack on command...
