Being a Tarot reader of nine years, and having done quite a number of readings for friends, family and strangers, I was wondering if anyone here also used forms of divination as a way to seek guidance through confusing times. I know that my friends rely on my cards to clear up questions, provide a potential outcome and to help answer hard-to-face questions. (My Dragon cards are not subtle- they'll whomp you over the head with the blunt answer and they're not exactly gentle with. I don't sugar coat the truth myself; sometimes people just won't deal with the truth if you try to be gentle.) Does anyone else practice divination here? If so, what method do you use? Does being an angelkin assist in any way?

I read the tarot off and on from 1991 to 2003. The Enchanted Tarot, my first deck, was always my favorite. My starting in with the tarot was sort of the final sign for leaving the seminary, for the catholic priesthood, back in 1991.
Since later 2003, I've used the runes. I started with the 24-rune elder futhark and later added nine runes from the anglo-saxon futhorc. Advanced runeworkers say that the runes aren't just symbols, but spirits and sentient in and of themselves. I've experienced that for myself. The readings I do are less about predicting events and more about how to be, and how to get into the proper flow of events and power.
They are wonderful for helping me get to the root of a matter and/or to the root of what is causing someone to be/behave the way that they are being/behaving.
