the way the theory goes is there's some that require time/patience energy (in way of bonds that are placed because your physical body has to be prepared to handle the consequences/influx). while there are others that simply cannot. kareshi, do you have a somewhat comprehensive list of different bonds/wards to share for examples?

comprehensive... most likely not, but I do have some general gists.
The wards one has are pentogrammic and hexogrammic. Pentogrammic wards absorb energy reflected in a spiritual sense, aura and the like while making an Angel difficult to discern from spiritual entities. Hexogrammic wards absorb energy that those in this plane might perceive, making an Angel difficult to discern by view of auras or even just the general feeling you get for people by their energy.
Binds and bonds, that's a whole bag of worms. They are all broken post mortem, but that doesn't help you out much now. The binds restricting certain power can be undone in as infinite a number of ways as they may be applied. This is why some people have greater memories and knowledge than others, the decision prior to incarnating as to what they should have access to as a result of preference or of purpose (should one be here with a purpose).
I believe that I bonded everything down in such a way that I could not consciously undo them. The only way that I can loosen binds is when acting in reaction or without thinking. The few times I believe I have ever done significant energy work or aggressive action with a spiritual entity were also times I felt I had a mental shift into being Terro. I didn't know what I did, just that I did it, and could not replicate the actions later. I also believe that some binds are placed on by the Angel and some by others, thusly the Angel in question may bind their memories, but the knowledge of how to unbind those memories would be bound by another Angel. Extra insurance that the Incarnate would not discover how to unbind without discovering the wisdom not to.

Would like to comment on that last part. Binds were put on me by another so I can say that is at least correct for me. They could not be removed except by the one who put them on me. Though I do recollect I did break out of one that was on my wings. but they just ended up being binded again with a stronger force.

I agree 100% with this! oh wow this is exactly what I thought. I believe I have sealed away my memories and my abilities and the rest was dealt by others I believe by Micha'el. I do remember having a conversation with him before I left, but unsure what it was about.
