from a karmic standpoint
or from a benevolence/malevolence standpoint for those who don't believe in karma
or from a simple right and wrong standpoint who don't believe in either the aforementioned
or from a personal code of morality for those that don't believe in that either....
and if you're a nihilist than just ignore the question :-P
do you find your kin-ness to affect your (pick one of the above). either by how you conduct yourself, how others hold you, or (focusing on karma) universal significance/repercussions of action?
either in human form or spiritual....

No, "Kinness" has nothing to do with a beings individual choice of action. if I said it did make a difference, that in of itself would be closed minded speciism(sp?) It would be like saying all white people live in trailers, drink beer and watch tv. All black people are gangbanging potheads or all asians are small lil 3ft tall nerds.

the question is really an extension of my 'distinctions' thread. it's to point out the irony in 'title' nuances that many are so adamant towards (not speaking specifically of the otherkin communities, but people in general). even if there's no natural repercussion or difference...it's also interesting to see that none have even shown a 'sentiment' or 'responsibility' (both of which would affect action) that would go along with their 'title' (again using the word in its most ironic sense).
thus i'm also distinguishing natural 'consequence' of action from personal moral 'consequence'
:-P

it just begs the old question of, "am I who I am because of what I am, or am I what I am because of who I am?"
I personally believe that I'm me, I think a significant portion of my personality comes from being an Angel for so long. In that case it does effect my decisions because it is who I am as a result of what I am and what I have done for so long. I think Angels are outside the karmic scale as well.

ah, any time a philosophical question is reduced to chicken or egg...it dies rather quickly.
i agree that angels are outside of the karmic scale yes (given the peculiarities and overall nature of their tasks/being)...but what of other celestial incarnates? other types of kin?
so we've been rather split thus far as to whether kin-ness affects decision making/how many ripples you make in the pond.....fun discourse thus far :-D

I believe anything that is still seeking spiritual ascension is on the karmic scale still. Angels who either are already there because they're the staff or are Fallen and therefore former staff, are not.
I have seen in kin just awakening, who do not accept their kinships as of yet, a tendency towards a dis-associative identity of that kinship they have tendencies to mentally shift into. In this case we see a definite difference in decision making. Once that personality as been accepted into the rest there may be a difference in the person's decisions, but that I believe is a result of having the added experience that made the split personality act in the way it did, so therefore it is actions of that person defined by that person's previous experience.

I'm unsure on Karma with what I have to say, but I feel as though it is worth mentioning in this thread.
I do not believe that it has anything to do with Kin, however because of who I am - and which "side" I am on (so to speak), when I travel in the Astral Realms I meet many people (friend and foe). Kin could play a part in this, though I do not believe it does. Because of who I am (not what I do) I have been in many battles in the Astral Realm. However, I do believe that being an Incarnate Angel does play a part in me feeling the need to protect the "boarders" to the Astral Realm (I can't describe them any other way).

Sure I have a lot of experience there so it'll be cool. Some of it might sound a bit far fetched but that's only because of shape-shifters lol.
