rants/dissertations/etc....for those who feel they have 'wings' on an energetic/astral level.....
do you feel they serve more functionally or are merely symbolic (while physical)?
those that side with symbolism, what do your own wings represent to you, along as general/historical significance? what you feel the colors/shapes/length/etc mean.
those that side with function, what usability have you found? what about when not human?

While physical? I'd say they are more symbolic tahn anything......However they have served a variety of purposes for me while I walked the endless expanse of the astral.

Serving as an amplifier of energy....(People tend to say they can hear music coming from my wings, type of instrument and/or music depending on individuals tastes)...quite possibly plays a part there...I've used them to absorb energy(be it simply "charging up" or as a kind of shield) I've used them to prop myself up as well.....However all I can recall off the top of my head.

For me my wings are mostly for function, because I actually do need them to fly, and some can be used for protection in battle. However, They are also kind of a symbolic thing, kind of just a mark of being holy? (there's probably a better way to word that but I'm new here and I'm trying) And I think the colour just might be an individual thing, like how everyone's wings are kinda different to generally go with who they are. So yeah
