4 is consitered an unlucky number in Japan. Nothing comes in sets of four and in some buildings, there is no 4th floor.

6 - consitered an imperfect or evil number. Supposedly the number of the beast, and etc. Incidentally January 6th was the day my mom wanted me to be born, but I said "heck no mummy!" and was born on the 9th instead.
