Since I got my new Tarot of the Saints deck I've been quite accurate with in person readings. Wishing to push myself a bit, I figured I'd try dry reading over the internets. Nothing too serious really, a just for fun kinda thing. I'd like to get some practice with specific kinds of readings so here are the kinds I'm working with:
General self
3 card "self" (past present future)
9 card self (past present future)
Name (by syllable)
What's on your mind? (probably the most difficult)
So just post here with the type you'd like (one at a time please) and I'll see what I can see :3.

9 card spread...general self and in the spirit of this forum...an emphasis on spiritual path....please :-)

Ok Aeon, here is what I got for you. The 9 card general focus on spiritual. First three cards mark your past progress, next set marks your current progress and the last three will issues assurences or warnings based on your current path. Here we go. First three: 8 of staffs, ten of coins, and four of staffs. My interpretation: very auspicious. the presence of the coins and staffs suggests a richness in your past. the 8 of staffs suggests that though you had people looking up to you or praising you, you kept your head. You don't need other's incouragement to do what you do, you do it for the sake of your own well being. The presence of the four of staffs is a strong card of commitment. It suggests you're very commited to your spirituality in the past. Second three: Mary (the Moon) Ace of Coins, and Two of cups. Again very auspicious. The presence of Mary, a major arcana suggests that you're on the right path, she's like a star guiding you onward. The ace card means a new begining for you, and it links you to the goodness or the 10 of coins in your past. The two of cups, wow you are VERY commited to something, sir. that's two lovers/marriage/commitment cards. you're very commited to your path.  Last three: Five of swords, nine of coins, and the ace of swords. A mix bag here. the presence of the swords means hard times ahead but don't worry, both cards in this case mean rebirth and resuresction. the nine of cups suggest a loaded, difficult journey. So expect some trials on your path but don't worry, no matter how bad things get, you'll pull through. How was it? |

quite nice....do you also do celtic cross spread? I'd have to get a manual xD. I'm not very strong on the traditional methods as I suck so much I need to make up my own spreads lol. |

I've got a few tarot decks, though I use them less and less as responsibilities grow. Isn't that always the way? *sigh*
Could I also have a 9-card spread of the general self, if it's not too much trouble?
