Just a general catch up topic, since I haven't been here in months. What has everyone been up to? My job has been picking up a bit and I've been doing art commissions here and there. I went to see a concert and my book is nearly done being edited. So what's new, forum?

Those are very creative pictures. I took a photoshop class a while ago, but I forgot most of what I learned unfortunately. I like how you use light in them.

Bevels are your friend, for they make, making shadows and lighting so much easier than if you tried to paint them out. And it takes years to really figure out all the widgets in photo shop. Its a complicated mistress.

Heehee I actually drew a complex pen picture out of sheer OCD-ness the other day. It took a trip with my mom and my good friend to NYC yesterday. It was a fun trip aside from the fact that we couldn't get a taxy from Jekyll and Hyde back to Penn station, so we had to walk over 20 blocks to get back (on a full stomach, which sucked for me) But other than that it was a great time  |

Ooh, I meant writing, haha. I've tried pen drawings, but I'm still working on the pencil aspect. My artist hand isn't very good, but it is getting better.

Writing is fun-ness! I can't stop (I'm starting to think it may be part of my "life's purpose" to write a series of three novels) meh, either that or the muses have made me thier "slave" only replace slave with another word that starts with b and ends with itch xD.

Aww Nem! Have you thought of getting contacts? I hate them but they sure do come in handy at times. Like they're a bit harder to break if you sit on them and such. *hugs* Its close to Christmas anyways, I can't imagine you're missing much in school.

I cant wear contacts.it takes me about 2 hours to get them in, and when I get them in, they irratate my eyes too much. so i get my new ones tomarrow.

Heehee I get my glasses from Costco. They have designer frames for like 100.00$ instead of what they would really go for, close to 300.00 I love bulk buying stores. |
